The lecture is particularly geared towards all PhD students and Postdocs using (or planning to use) microscopy in their research. The lecture covers the physics behind the technology so that one can use it to its full extent. Its content covers aspects such as what are the differences between widefield and confocal microscopy and what are their respective strengths.
